Innovation and technology in Singapore

Food Innovation Precinct Western Australia (FIPWA) General Manager Dr Chris Vas recently travelled to Singapore with CEOs Dean Unsworth and Andrew Ward from the Peel Region to meet with companies with a keen interest in discovering sustainable and innovative ways to undertake premium and functional food product development.

Dr Vas discussed the opportunities offered by the precinct and its partners, including The GrowHub, who recently began the fit out of the FIPWA Innovation Centre, which will become their Western Australian headquarters.

“There is a growing interest in Singaporean companies with increasing investment and innovation in plant-based protein production, traceability technologies while securing food supply sources – all of which are activities to be pursued at the FIPWA.” The GrowHub CEO Lester Chan said.
